Hi, my name is Tamera Rackham and I practice Mind Body & energy healing/balancing in Montana’s beautiful Bitterroot Valley. At the invitation of Melissa, the woman that organizes the vendors and does the marketing for the Ravalli County Fair, I have secured a block of vendor booths at the 2022 Ravalli County Fair. A vendor booth at the fair offering “energy” work was a specific desire of hers.
I am looking for a handful of holistic practitioners from the Bitterroot to join in offering energy balancing/healing "mini" sessions of whatever modality you practice to folks at the fair. This can be a lot of fun and also have potential for acquiring new clients. The space we have is 20 feet by 20 feet, with 3 sides facing the “public, and is located outside under one of the big canopies the fairground has, so we will be protected from the sun too (YAY!!). According to Melissa there were approximately 30,000 (yes 30,000 - not a misprint) people that went through the 2021 county fair, so even if it is half that amount, we can expect to be seen by a lot of people.
The booth will have a couple of tables, front-end table that would be the main interface with the public at the fair as well as one or two for the placement of each practitioners personal marketing materials. We will have a booth sign and the front-end table is where a “daily menu” would be, your flyers while you are present, and the all-inclusive flyer listing everyone. This table will have 1 or 2 people/practitioners there to answer questions and interact with folks and assist in the flow of people/practitioner/session interactions.
I will be setting up and providing most things needed for the booth itself, allowing you to more or less just show up and provide whatever service you are offering. The details of what I provide, what I ask of you, the cost and time involved, and what you would be responsible for providing are listed below. What I Do and Provide:::::
Total set-up of the booth space – including Massage tables, massage chairs, screens (for a bit of privacy), booth signage, menu “board” to display today’s offerings, front-end tables, folding chairs, fans for air movement.
All-inclusive 8.5” by 11” flyer for front-end table. This will talk about energy work and Mindbody therapies in general with a list of all practitioners participating in the fair event, along with their contact information, on the back. (Phone, email and website or FB page or ??)
Listing on the “fair practitioners 2022” webpage. The URL for this webpage will be on all print material as well as whatever marketing the fair does. Information for this listing is to be provided by you and should include modalities practiced, email address and your website, FB page (or ???). Each listing will also feature a picture of each practitioner so please make sure I get one. See example listing at gracefulharmony.com/2022fair

Your Cost & Time Commitment::::
The Ravalli County Fair is August 31st, Sept 1st, 2nd & 3rd this year. That is a Wednesday through Saturday.
I am breaking each day up into 2 “shifts” of 5 hours each, an AM and a PM.
The AM shift is 10:45 to 4:00
The PM shift is 4:00 to 9:15
I am asking each practitioner to provide 2 (maybe 3) “mini”-session options to put on the “menu” that will be displayed at the front-end table. This can be the same service in different amounts of time or different services that require different amounts of time. I am asking each practitioner to offer something that is between 5-15 minutes, and then something between 25-35 minutes. The fees charged for the “sessions” are set by you and I encourage $1.50/2.00 a minute. You will also be responsible for the collection of payment for the sessions you do.
***Earning potential per hour will be determined by what you are charging and how on target you are in keeping “on-time” while you are doing sessions. With as many people that will be around it is realistic to earn $200+ during one 5-hour “shift”.
Participation Level Options & Costs
1 day, a 5-hr shift, either am or pm $75.00
2 days with a 5-hr shift each day $105.00
3 days – with a 5-hr shift each day ** $135.00
4 days – a 5-hr shift each day ** $155.00
1 10-hr shift – full day $105.00
**for each of these options we are asking for your participation for an hour each shift in helping with the front table and crowd interaction. If you want one of these options without this part there is an additional $20 fee as I will need to pay someone to be there otherwise.
What you will need to provide for yourself::::
Personal flyer sheet– 5.5” by 8.5” OR 8.5”by 11” (at least 250 count for each day you will be there) for front table while you are present. These sheets need to have your name, contact info, indicate what you are offering, the fee, and what you are accepting for payment (cash, check, cc). These sheets will be what they are looking at in deciding to have a session with you or not and many will take them home with them.
Massage tables and massage chairs will be there. It is up to you to provide linens or coverings if you want/need them.
If you choose to do some kind of prize give-away and put it on the front-end table for everyone to enter. You would be responsible for providing the slips and container for this.
